HANSEN, Circuit Judge.
Dennis Terrell appeals the district court’s 3 order affirming the denial of his application for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) ben-" efits under the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 1381a (1994). We affirm.
Terrell, who was forty-two years old at the time of the administrative hearing regarding his claim for SSI benefits, has a ninth grade education. He has previously worked as a musician, logger, truck driver, loader operator, security guard, and absentee ownerAes-sor of a logging truck.
