I. Introduction
In this case we determine the effect of section 12-86-134, 4 C.R.S. (2001) on the common-law corporate practice of medicine doctrine. 1 The plaintiffs, Christine Russell and Uri Neil as the next friends of Michael Russell Neil, sued defendant Pediatric Neurosurgery, a professional corporation, for medical negligence related to procedures performed on their son Michael as treatment for spina bifida.
