The appellant was indicted and convicted for the theft of a cow. There are various errors assigned by him, only one of which we deem it necessary to notice, and that is as to the oath which was administered to the jury.

The oath prescribed by law to be taken by the jury was •omitted, and a different one administered. Article 563 of the Code of Criminal Procedure prescribes the oath to be administered to a jury in criminal cases. “ Art. 563.
