Plaintiff Eric Humphrey, a trespasser, was severely injured when he drove his four-wheeler into an unmarked cable that defendants, the Glenns, had strung across their private road in an effort to keep trespassing vehicles off of their leased farm, Greenfield. 1 The trial court recognized the traditional rule that a possessor of land, such as the Glenns, owes no duty to trespassers.
