After several unsuccessful attempts to obtain a promotion from teacher to assistant principal, Christine Moore sued the Forrest City School District (“the School District”) and its superintendent, Lee Vent, in his official capacity, claiming racial discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII, 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981 and 1983.
