Carpinello, J. Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Chemung County (Danaher, Jr., J.), rendered April 24, 1995, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of attempted promoting prison contraband in the first degree.
Defendant was found in possession of a razor blade while incarcerated in a State correctional facility. He was subsequently indicted for the crime of promoting prison contraband in the first degree and pleaded guilty to the crime of attempted promoting prison contraband in the first degree.
