OPINION
MARY P. GORMAN, Bankruptcy Judge.
An important component of the “fresh start” obtained by filing for bankruptcy relief is a debtor’s entitlement to exempt certain property from the claims of creditors. In Illinois, debtors use the exemptions provided by Illinois law. Those exemptions include, inter alia, the aggregate net cash value of certain life insurance and endowment policies and the right to receive disability benefits.
