Plaintiffs have brought this equity action in a dispute between two factions of the Greek Orthodox Catholic Community of Philadelphia, over church property.

Defendants moved the parish formerly situated at 745 South Twelfth Street, Philadelphia (“Evangelismos”) to Elkins Park, just north of Philadelphia. Defendants further plan to sell the Twelfth Street property. Both these actions are pursuant to votes of the community and approval of the church hierarchy.
