DAUES, P. J.-

— Plaintiff, Edith Stulz, respondent here, filed this suit in a justice court against Mike Lentin as defendant on promissory notes aggregating $500. There was a change of venue to an other justice, where judgment was rendered in favor of plaintiff and against defendant for the face of the notes, with interest. Thereupon defendant Lentin filed an affidavit for appeal to the circuit court of the city of St. Louis, and gave the following as an appeal bond, which we set out in full:
