Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Bambrick, J.), rendered November 11, 1983, convicting him of robbery in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s contentions, the record reveals that he was afforded effective assistance of counsel (see, e.g., People v Baldi, 54 NY2d 137; People v Carter, 114 AD2d 420).
