MEMORANDUM***
Anthony Woolridge appeals from an order denying his motion to vacate the judgment that was entered after he failed to attend the pretrial conference in his § 1983 action. We affirm.
We review the denial of a motion under Fed.R.Civ.P. 60(b) for abuse of discretion. See United States v. Asarco, Inc., 430 F.3d 972, 978 (9th Cir.2005). Contrary to Wool-ridge’s argument, de novo review is not warranted simply because the district court summarily denied his motion. See TCI Group Life Ins. Plan v.
