SANDERS, Justice.

This is a criminal proceeding. The state charged that the defendant, Otis James, had unlawfully possessed one morphine tablet, a narcotic drug. He was tried and convicted. The court sentenced him, as a second offender, to a total of ten years in the state penitentiary. Lie has appealed, relying upon twenty-nine bills of exception reserved in the trial court.
