On October 26, 1970, eight Iowa based trucking companies and two Missouri based trucking companies, on behalf of themselves and all others similarly situated, filed a lawsuit in the Circuit Court of Cole County against the Missouri Highway Reciprocity Commission, its individual members, the State Treasurer, and the Director of the Division of Budget and Comptroller.
