Adcus Lanier was charged with murder and convicted of voluntary manslaughter. He assigns error on the overruling of his motion for a new trial.

The 4th ground of the motion for a new trial alleges error because x-ray pictures were admitted in evidence which the doctor, who made the pictures, identified as pictures of J. T. Starling, and the name of the deceased was J. L. Starling. The indictment named the deceased as Johnnie Starling, and the witnesses in the main referred to him as Johnnie Starling.
