The Texas Company brought suit in the Ouachita Circuit Court against D. Y. Snow and others, to recover for a breach of a covenant of warranty in a warranty deed conveying 80 acres of land. The plaintiff alleged that, in February, 1923, it purchased from the defendants the north one-half of the northwest quarter of section 30, township 15 south, range 16 west, for the price of $10,000, which it paid the defendants. It is alleged that the defendants executed and delivered a warranty deed whereby they warranted the title to said property, and agreed to defend title against claims of all persons.…
