This is a patent case. Plaintiff KX Industries, L.P. is a limited partnership organized under the laws of Delaware with its principal place of business in Orange, Connecticut. Plaintiff Koslow Technolo gies Corporation is a Connecticut corporation with its principal place of business in Orange, Connecticut. Koslow Technologies is the owner of U.S.Patents Nos. 5,249,948 (“the '948 patent”), 5,189,092 (“the ’092 patent”), 5, 147,722 (“the ’722 patent”) and 5,019,811 (“the ’811 patent”), all pertaining to extruded carbon blocks used in water filters.
