Stephen P. York (defendant) appeals a judgment that convicted him of robbery in the first degree. § 569.020, RSMo 2000. This court reverses and remands for further proceedings.

Defendant appeared with appointed counsel February 10, 2006, before a circuit judge and tendered a plea of guilty to the offense with which he was charged pursuant to a negotiated plea agreement.
