1. The public policy of the state and the purpose of sections 56-326 to 56-330 of the Code of 1950 are that white and colored passengers in intrastate carriage shall be separated from physical and intimate contact, and that no contiguous seats on the same bench shall be occupied by white and colored passengers at the same time.
