—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Orange County (Paño Z. Patsalos, J.), rendered February 10, 1995, convicting him of assault in the second degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, after a nonjury trial, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to the People (see, People v Contes, 60 NY2d 620), we find that it was legally sufficient to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant intended to cause physical injury to the victim when he kicked her in the eye during an argument…
