Victor Perkins (“Perkins” or “petitioner”) has filed a pro se petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 challenging his conviction in Monroe County Court of New York State following a jury trial on one count of robbery in the first degree (N.Y. Penal Law § 160.15(4)) and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree (N.Y. Penal Law § 265.02(4)).
