MEMORANDUM OF OPINION

RENFREW, District Judge.

Plaintiff brought this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), § 205(g) of the Social Security Act as amended, to obtain judicial review of a final decision of the Secretary of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare (“HEW”) to deny his application for disability insurance benefits. Both parties have filed motions for summary judgment. Having carefully considered the arguments of counsel, the Court concludes that although the Secretary’s decision was supported by substantial evidence, the case must be remanded to the hearing examiner for the…
