In this civil action, Bank of America, N.A. (the “Bank”) sued Trey Inman & Associates, EC. (“TIA”) for conversion, alleging that TIA, while acting as the closing attorneys on a sale of property in which the Bank had a secured interest, wrongfully disbursed a portion of the sales funds to the seller of the property instead of disbursing all of the funds to the Bank.
