James Lowry was charged with attempted first degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and armed robbery. After a jury trial, he was found not guilty of attempted murder and found guilty of aggravated battery and armed robbery. He was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 30 years in the Illinois State Penitentiary.
