This case concerns the Canada lynx, a wild cat that typically weighs about twenty pounds and- has long legs; large, well-furred paws; long tufts on the ears; and a short, black-tipped tail. Canada lynx are most commonly found in Canada and several states contiguous to Canada, including Maine.
