DEL SOLE, Judge:

This is an appeal by the Commonwealth from the trial court’s granting of Appellee’s omnibus pre-trial motion to quash/habeas corpus petition.

This case stems from an investigation involving the October 1988 disappearance of Mrs. Ada Groomes and a 1976 Dodge Motorhome, she owned with her husband. In the course of the investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police contacted over one hundred witnesses. News of the disappearance was disseminated through newspaper and television releases.
