The parties occupy ¡.the same positions here as in the trial court, and will be referred to as “plaintiff” and “defendant.”; The plaintiff and defendant were res-r idents of McAlester, Oklahoma, and f were married at Sherman, Texas, on October 25, 1945. At the time of their f marriage the plaintiff was approximately 63 years of age and the defendant 60. They lived together as husband and : wife until December 29, 1947, when [they were divorced.
