The facts in this case are not in any material dispute. Plaintiffs own a summer resort located on Tenderfoot lake. Tenderfoot lake is located mostly in Wisconsin, but the diagonal boundary line between Michigan and Wisconsin cuts through the north portion of this lake. Plum lake is located to the north and east of Tenderfoot lake, and is for the most part located in the state of Michigan, the boundary line running through the southwest bay of the lake.
