A jury convicted appellants Ronald Coleman and Donald Coleman (who are not related) of attempted robbery while armed, D.C.Code §§ 22-2902, -3202 (1981), and convicted appellant Ronald Coleman of second degree murder while armed, id. §§ 22-2403, -3202. Appellants contend on appeal, first, that the testimony of the government’s principal witness, Timothy McCain, was so inherently incredible that, as a matter of law, the trial court should have granted appellants’ motions for judgment of acquittal.
