This is an appeal by plaintiff from an order of the Superior Court of Placer County transferring' the place of trial of the above-entitled cause to the Superior Court of Humboldt County.

Count I of the original complaint alleges that plaintiff was an employee of the Department of Pish and Game from April 1, 1951, to September 18, 1951, on which date he resigned; that he was at all times a police officer by profession; that he was employed as such by the City of Eureka, County of Humboldt, from July 14, 1949, to April 21, 1953, except for the interval of employment with the State Department of…
