Roderick Griffin sought 638 days of credit for time spent incarcerated before sentencing by way of a motion for credit filed in the *739district court. In Pangallo v. State, this court determined that a claim for presentence credit was a challenge to the computation of time served that must be raised in a post-conviction petition for a writ of habeas corpus.1 In denying Griffin’s motion, the district court noted that, under this court’s decision in Pangallo, a motion for credit was the improper vehicle in which to seek credit for presentence incarceration.
