OPINION

ROBERTS, Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for robbery by assault, with punishment enhanced under Art. 62, Vernon’s Ann.P.C. Trial was before a jury and the court assessed the mandatory sentence of life imprisonment.

James Clyde Holman was the first of three witnesses called by the State. Holman, a bus driver for the San Antonio Transit Company, testified that on the evening of November 15, 1968, he was robbed at gunpoint by a Negro male.
