ROSENN, Circuit Judge.
A federal grand jury indicted Rodolfo Be-thancourt (“Bethancourt”) and Reginaldo Haynes (“Haynes”)1 for conspiracy to import more than 500 grams of cocaine into the United States. After a pretrial hearing, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey found that Bethancourt had knowingly and voluntarily waived his Fifth Amendment rights and concluded that a confession signed by Bethancourt would be admissible at trial.
