People v. Gall

This is an appeal by the State from an order quashing a warrant-less arrest and suppressing evidence obtained at the time of the arrest. (107 Ill. 2d R. 604(a)(1).) The State contends that (1) under the totality of the circumstances the police had probable cause for the • warrantless arrest of the defendants and (2) defendants lacked standing to contest the search.
