Does a school committee have standing to sue for money damages when students residing in other districts wrongfully attend its schools? The defendants, Charles M. Smith III and Maria Casimiro, contend that the East Providence School Committee lacked standing to bring suit against them, even though their two children attended school in East Providence while they were living in Providence.
