A.C., a minor with Type 1 diabetes, her mother, J.C., and her father, B.C., are the Plaintiffs-Appellants in this case. A.C. attended Bon Lin Elementary School, a school governed by Defendant-Appellee Shelby County Board of Education (“SCBE”). After three years of wrangling between Bon Lin officials and Plaintiffs over Plaintiffs’ requests for certain disability accpmmodations for A.C., things came to a head near the beginning of AC.’s second-grade year when Bon Lin’s princi pal twice made reports to Tennessee’s Department of Children’s Services…
