McDONALD, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal from a temporary injunction enjoining-Defendants from breaching certain restrictions in Briarcroft Addition, a highly restricted residential area in Houston. Plaintiffs are resident property owners in Briarcroft Addition. Defendants are: 1) Briarcroft Development Company, which dedicated the Addition and restrictions thereon, but which claims the right itself to deviate from the express terms of some of the restrictions; 2) Chuck Irwin Building Corporation, which seeks to build on lots of less width than the restrictions prescribe; and 3) R.
