Defendant-Appellant Dorothy Carrigan appeals from a Superior Court decision affirming the Court of Common Pleas’s denial of Carrigan’s Motion for New Trial and Recusal following a violation of probation (“VOP”) hearing. Carrigan alleges due process violations and an appearance of impropriety arising from ex parte communications between Carrigan’s probation officer and the sentencing judge about her probation.
