This is an action of trespass on the case, ■commenced on January 20th, 1910, to recover damages for personal injuries received by the plaintiff on October 1st, 1906, and alleged to have resulted from the negligence of the defendant.
Under one of the provisions of the statute “Of the Limitations of Actions,” in force October 1st, 1906, and now contained in Gen. Laws, 1909, Chapter 284, § 1, “actions for injuries to the person shall be commenced and sued within two years after the-cause of action shall accrue and not after.” The plaintiff within two years after October 1st, 1906, brought an…
