SHEPARD, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal from a summary judgment granted in favor of the defendant-respondent landowner in a wrongful death action wherein the decedent was killed in a motorcycle accident on the defendant’s property. We affirm.

Respondent Miniver owns real property known as the Taylor Mountain Ski Area, upon which, during the winter months, there is conducted a commercial recreation*1070al skiing enterprise. On payment of a fee the public is invited to utilize the area for recreational downhill skiing.
