This was an action upon a promissory note alleged to have been executed by defendant Solomon to one F. Cohn. The complaint was in the usual form, and after setting forth a copy of the note, alleged that before maturity, it was indorsed by the said F. Colm and for value delivered to plaintiff, and that plaintiff was the owner and holder thereof. The defendant by answer set up five several defenses.
