ERROR to tbe Circuit Court for Manitowoc County. Tbe plaintiff in error was convicted in tbe Circuit Court of Manitowoc County, of tbe crime of murder, and was sentenced to imprisonment for life. He sues out a writ of error to review tbe judgment below. The opinion states tbe case.

At the June Term, 1868, of the circuit court for the county of Manitowoc, the plaintiff in error was indicted for the crime of murder, and at the June term, 1870, of the same court, be was tried upon such indictment, convicted and sentenced by the court to imprisonment in the state prison for life. He has sued out a writ of error to obtain here a review of the judgment of the circuit court. No bill of exceptions has been settled and returned, and therefore the evidence given on the trial is not before us.
