Appellee 'brouglit this suit against appellant in the circuit court of Hot 'Springs county to recover damages in the sum of $3,000 for an injury received by her through the alleged negligence of appellant in cansing and permitting a hot cinder to be blown from one of its engines while she was rightfully on its depot platform in the city of Malvern which struck appellee in her left eye severely injuring it and causing her to suffer severe and excruciating pain and resulting in the permanent injury to the vision thereof and disfigurement of her face.
