The Association of Maryland Pilots (“the Association”) has filed a complaint for exoneration from or limitation of liability pursuant to the Exoneration and Limitation of Liability Act, 46 U.S.C. § 30501 et seq. (“Limitation Act”). William S. Dize (“Dize”) is the sole claimant appearing in the action. Now before the court is Dize’s motion for a stay of the action pending resolution of Dize’s parallel state court personal injury action instituted pursuant to the Jones Act.
