Defendant Frank Price was arrested on September 23, 1967, in the city of Detroit and charged with larceny from a motor vehicle of property of value greater than $5, contrary to CL 1948, § 750.356a (Stat Ann 1954 Eev § 28.588[1]). lie was arraigned on a complaint and warrant on September 25 in Detroit recorder’s court and a plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf. Following an examination, he was bound over for trial, and on January 24, 1967, he was arraigned on the information and stood mute, whereupon a plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf.
