This appeal involves the liability for damages to plaintiff by reason of an alleged fáulty construction by the defendant city of a sanitary sewer past the premises of plaintiff. The particular defect has reference to the manner of connecting the sewer tile joints, which, it is alleged, permitted sewage to escape, thereby contaminating plaintiff’s well and causing injuries upon which his damages are predicated.
