A grand jury of La Salle County issued a bill of indictment charging defendant, Marc A. Close, with one count of felony driving while license revoked. Following a hearing on April 18, 2008, the trial court granted defendant’s motion to quash arrest and suppress evidence. The State filed a certificate of substantial impairment pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 604(a)(1) (210 Ill. 2d R. 604(a)(1)) and appeals the trial court’s ruling.
