The defendant, Charlie Farr, was indicted for the murder of Harold C. Bennett. He was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter. His motion for a new trial, based upon the usual general grounds, and eleven special grounds, was overruled and he excepted.
In special ground 1 error is assigned upon the admission of certain evidence over the objection that “the foundation has not been laid, no proper foundation, and we object to it on the further ground it would be a self-serving declaration.” This objection is not sufficiently specific to raise any question for determination by this court.
