OPINION
O’NEILL, Justice.
Appellant, Salon Thomas, was convicted at a trial before a jury of the felony offense of burglary of a vehicle with intent to commit theft. Tex Penal Code Ann. § 30.04(a) (Vernon 1994). Appellant plead true to the enhancement paragraph, and the court assessed punishment at ten years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
