The defendant, Nicole St. Hilaire, appeals from a modification judgment of the Probate and Family Court granting the plaintiff, Dana Young, sole physical and legal custody of the parties' minor child, David.2 On appeal, the defendant argues that the judge abused her discretion by relying on the reports of the guardians ad litem (GALs) introduced in evidence at trial.
