The petitioner is an inmate of the Washington state penitentiary. He was convicted of second-degree burglary, and sentenced to a term of fifteen years. He was represented by counsel and had a jury trial.
He petitions this court for a writ of habeas corpus upon two grounds. The first is that he was charged by information rather than by an indictment by a grand jury, which he claims contravenes his constitutional rights as provided by the fifth and fourteenth amendments to the constitution of the United States.
